Google "MSI rebate" and see if one turns up. They can give you the run down on the many features of this board that I'm not currently taking advantage of, and don't have the equipment to test. I barebonesed it with just two sticks of RAM and a quad core CPU, and couldn't get it to post (switched it out with a CORSAIR 750w TX, and it booted right up). You'd be surprised by how many mail-in rebates you can find on computer parts. It's a great video chip for the average user, but if you want to play games that require more than 128MB of video memory, you will need to invest in a separate video card (or two if you want to take advantage of the Hybrid CrossFireX technology). This board is packed with features and for the price, you just can't beat it.
I had an old 450W that I thought would be sufficient, but it didn't have a high enough amp rating to power the board. I found a $20 rebate at the MSI rebate site that wasn't listed here at Ammy. It's fast, cool, quiet, very upgradable, and is supposed to overclock well, but I haven't bothered, yet. The sound is great, the LAN is fast (10/100/1000), and it will run up to 8GB of RAM.If you want to take a look at the technical specs and professional tests, I recommend overclockersclub.com and motherboards.org. I highly recommend investing in a good, single rail power supply.
One of the reasons that I chose this board was because I was trying to avoid buying a graphics card, and the DKA790GX Platinum has an ATI Radeon HD 3300 chip built in.
